Has anyone been to Bungonia State Recreation area CAW6 554 ! a mate of mine has a 21ft van & wants to know if the area is suitable for larger caravans.

Heres a pic of the campground at Bungonia state Conservation Park where we stayed. From the postion of CAW 554, I think this is the same place.

As you can see theres heaps of room, several areas like this and some small ones.

I hope this is the Bungonia state forest campground, mentioned in Wikicamps.  I am heading for Canberra later this week & looking for places to stay enroute. This area looks stunning. We stayed at Gunning swimming pool carpark last year & will probably stay again. But the caving, gorge, lookout area looks too good to by-pass. I have a 16m long rig, so want to make sure the entry road is OK & there is enough room to manoeuvre. Regards,   Bamboj.
