Pic's Of Members From When They Were Teens to say Thirties or similar...

This didn't seem to fit anywhere else (sharing photo's is only for places you have been) so putting it here, hope that is ok Cindy;

This is one of me when I had just joined the Army at 17, on rookies at Kapooka, NSW.  I am on the left of the photo.  See the old bang sticks (.303), they were still in service then, much later during my service we were issued with SLR's (Self Loading Rifles);

Here's a pic of me taken in 1967 when I was 22-3 in Kings Cross. I lived in a nearby block of flats on Darlinghurst Rd. I was a shift worker

and so were all the girls living there.

I thought they were all waitresses. Hehe.

I am going to have to go through the archives of photo's luckily my parents have loaned me all their photo's for me to scan, so I will see if I can get some that don't make the scanner have a hissy fit.

I'll be back....

img167.jpgThis is me leaving Ayers Rock at the tender age of 18. I am on the right. Don't think that skirt could get much shorter. We had to sweep that bus out to get a ride back to Alice Springs, before heading to Darwin. Good times and memories of a misspent youth, maybe the start of my gypsy way of life.

I'm trying Vic! It's just not uploading. It comes up in the box okay, then I click submit post and nothing happens. I've even left it and come back to it 15 minutes later and it's still won't go. I've even tried to minimize the pic, to no avail.

 Are you remembering to click on "Insert" before submitting Beth ?

Cheers,

 Not sure why Beth, how have you tried to minimise the picture and did it work? (minimising the pic).

When I go to GN and click on Post Reply to make a post requiring a pic (that has been minimised and saved after minimising beforehand in a picture I have in My Pictures using Paint) When the post field comes up on GN, I first type in my post, then I tick "Attach File" shown under the field.   The I click Browse in File Upload field, which takes me to my pictures, the I select the pic I want to post and click Open, which puts it in the File Name/Source line, then go to the bottom and click on the tab that says Upload Files.   Then wait while it does its stuff and when the print changes colour (from grey to black I think), then go to the right of the box and click "Submit Post" and it should work, hope that helps.
