I don't have Camps Book next to me but the above free camp is great. We had planned on staying 3 nights but stayed 5. Flushing toilets and drinkable water. The river was so clear we actually used that water - until this morning, when it was dirty after a storm last night.

Lots of space to camp. either on the river edge, across the road from the river or right up above the camp ground near the toilet block. The toilet block has been improved, the road in and out has just been sealed this week.

It's a very popular spot with locals at the weekend. Most nights there were at least 10 vans, one night there were 17 but there is lots of space for that many.

Yes, Ruth, have been there, lovely place... we had it to ourselves too, must have been a week-night.
