Here's a fire that destroyed a van and tug, giving severe burns to the occupants, happened at Banka Banka station awhile back, I believe a pilot light on a fridge ignited petrol fumes from fuel that came out under pressure from a jerry can being opened to fill a generator;
Also another picture of a bush fire around a caravan park in Victoria, not sure what the outcome was;

That's terrible. I have lived in a caravan park when the paddock next door caught alight from some idiot tossing out a lit cigarette from his car. We all had our vans hitched to the cars, ready just in case. I was a horrible few hours....luckily the CFS got it under control before nightfall.
Scary stuff, fire. I've lost my home and everything in it in 2002, mine was a house but if your home is a van then I guess it's the same. While it's undoubtably traumatic, possessions can be replaced (preferably by an insurance company). You only get one shot at life, let it burn if it must but keep yourself and your loved ones (I include my dogs in that) safe and unharmed. Most of us with some grey will agree that you can cope with almost anything if you and those you care for are OK.
