Ramco sunrise #195 SA

Stopped at Ramco Point last night. Signs all around the boat ramp/toilets saying no camping  but a local assured me there were plenty of places to park along the river and that I could in fact turn around at the end of the very narrow road. Found a spot beside the road just a few feet from the river bank and spent a very peaceful night. Woke to this view  - and so many fish jumping - I will have to get a rod!!!!

Well people wonder why we become Grey Nomads. When you can wake up to a view like this and when you want a change up sticks and off to a new vista just as good. It's a no brainer.

Altho....sunrise?? What is this thing you speak of??? :)

Something that happens way too early, before 8:00 am ! Supposedly similar to a sunset, but happens in the east...

It is rare for me to be awake early enough to see sunrise - and to catch the birds as soon as I looked out......magic!
