I won a bid at ePay $124 for a battery , it said No Charge in country NSW. When I got the bill there was $10 for postage and handeling . So I asked why the extra charge , they then asked for my ID and name to find out why the extra charge. Today I contacted them to find out what was going on. I send them 3 emails and they replayed with 3 NO answers, just send them back. I will give it 2 more days and then they can put the battery ....... maybe I go and see them myself when I get up to Maroochydore.
Cancel the purchase and give them bad feedback. I had to ask the same question once. The seller said it wasn't for postage it was for handling and packaging. A sneaky way around it. Go to someone who is more honest.
You have to watch some of the sellers at evilbay. I bought an outboard and the add clearly said free postage and after I had paid for it, the seller would not post it.He said I should pay the postage.I stopped the payment thru paypal, so he just changed his name and sold it to someone else. Not illegal, said ebay!I eventually got my money back thru paypal, but it took some time.Check the feed back and don,t deal with someone who has little or bad feedback. You only learn by experience. Bill
Well well well, I got a replay saying a new person is managing ePay and looks he or she stuffed up. I mean how can you answer a letter and don't say anything ?just looking at a blank page? I think the person should get the marching orders. I feel sorry for the buisness owner.
