Our time has arrived

It's been a while but finally everything has fallen into place and we are off, well, in a weeks time (25th March).  After a short stay over Easter in Ballarat to say farewell to the rest of our family we are heading west to Kalgoorlie to visit an old friend. Then up the center to Katherine/Darwin.  We have dreamed of this for years and finally the dream will be realized, and hope to do all of our great country over the coming years.

Free camping most of the time and looking forward to meeting as many nomads as we can on our way.

See you out there.

Sounds great Jen and Gaz, pity you have to backtrack from Kalgoorlie across the Nullabor again to go up the centre, have you thought of maybe going up the centre first and come around the top and down the West Coast, then to Kalgoorlie?   Or perhaps to Kalgoorlie then up the West coast and back down the centre?

Or from Kalgoolie are you planning on going via the Gunbarrel highway across to Uluru joining up with the Stuart Highway?

Whatever you do wish you a safe and happy trip...smile

I envy you Jen, we are still two years away from our journey...I just wish it would hurry up.

Have a magnificent time, and enjoy every second of it.

We left Brisbane late June last year and presently near Broome WA.
We are hoping to go on forever....we love it.
Safe travels JenandGaz.

P.S. We are staying at the Roebuck Plains roadhouse caravan park.
It is 33 kms into Broome on a good road.
The caravan parks in Broome were disappointng to put it nicely.

Hi JenandGaz, we have just done the opposite to you! we finally left our home in Kalgoorlie a month ago and well on our way towards Ballarat, and everywhere else we can go!  Presently staying at a great free campsite at Martins Bend, Berri SA, great place and you can stay for up to 30 days, bargain! Enjoy your travels...
