Itchy feet

Yep, only been home a week and very busy but the feet are very itchy so I am now thinking about starting the Migration North a week earlier. Looking out the front door at the moment though I would say no go as it is like a cyclone just hit here in down town Wonthaggi Vic.

I will keep an eye on the weather god's doing's and make a dicision later in the week but will make sure things around here are all sorted in readiness for a quick getaway just in case. I don't want to be on the road over Easter but I wouldn't be anyway as would be set up somewhere by then.

Very hot and muggy up here Doug, no cyclones around now. Whatever you decide, have a great trip.

I have itchy feet to get back on the road too but not been able to as need all my resourses to head to NZ next week.

Have a great trip Doug, whenever you go.

The weather here is beautiful, though the winds have picked up quite a bit. I am in country SA. Tomorrow is a sunny 22'. I wish we were going somewhere too...but no opportunities yet.

Weather's lovely here in Taree too but I keep bursting into tears every time I read about someone taking off somewhere. The days are crawling while I'm waiting for everything to fall into place... even just a few days camping would be nice.

Sheesh Doug, I believe gravox blended into a paste could be perfect for itchy feet.

Tinea powder might do the trick Dougwe!

Enjoy wherever you go, may the weather be kind... seems to be a bit dodgy lately in a few spots.

I'm keeping an eye on the weather reports for Easter, not for me, but for some family members who want to go camping.

We do have Cyclone Tim lurking around off the coast of NQ. Currently heading west... I hope it decides to do a youee!

I have itchy feet too, for the first time since my return home in December. I'm now really looking forward to Wuruma Dam.

Ok then, I will put a post up when I leave but your not allowed to read it Gary, that way I won't run the risk of being flooded with your tears.

Na, I think I should just shoot through GD, sounds better. Preparations will get under way tomorrow. I still have a few small bushes and the like to trim as I will be away for 6 Months maybe longer. Mmmm, I wonder how selling a house while on the road would work out, Na, better not.

Just let me know if you are interested. Western Australia has a history of selling peoples houses when they are away, especially to people in Nigeria !!!

Wombat, hotmail changed my account to Live ages ago. I had no problem attaching pictures, I will have to jog my memory on that one. How come you are only just getting Live when we are all getting changed to Outlook, no choice there either.

Sorry opps Dougwe made me say the wrong one, it is Outlook that I have been changed to but only on my iPad, laptop is still showing Live, I'm not keen on Outlook now, not enough options for me

Senior moment, I'm now going back down my hole biggrin

I am still on Live BUT it looks like they have removed some options to make me sign up for Outlook, just had a look at the Outlook page and will go and change to it now.

have a great trip when you go away Dougwe, I'll let HW know that she has gone off topic and she will not do it again, I promise biggrinbiggrin

We spent a couple of weeks in Victoria in February- way too hot!

Just home from a week in the Blue Mountains- warm days & cool nights.

Maybe a couple of days some place on the water before Easter or just after - Lake Macquarie or Port Stephens.

If you don't want to stay home, don't!

If Queensland is to far, or to cycloney, don't go there!

There are heaps of spots for a quick getaway north of Vic and south of Qld - it's called New South Wales!

One great thing about Victoria, its only 3 or 4 hours to the border!

I find I spend most of my time in Victoria. it has just happened as I planned to do the big trip etc etc but I have found I have found some nice spots and also some places I enjoying spending time doing voluntary work as it ha just happened that way.

Not really interested in the rush from north to south etc. I tend to just wander around and don't plan too much just take it day at a time.

I ma quite happy to stop somewhere for a month or too until I get the urge and then I move on.

Regards
Brian

 Someone posted this link on the forum for weather before (Gerty?) very helpful and easy to read;

http://www.weatherzone.com.au/

Just as well Wombat is on the west coast, otherwise he would be moving into your house with all his furry mates, I believe he has some over there in his home town (Wombat) in NSW, so be careful.....

Oh I picked up on it Beth. Was quietly smug that there was something he didn't know.

Wombat, when you are in as new page ready to write, it says Attach File up towards the top. Not sure what you are looking at.
