Just setting off tomorrow 15/3 for 3 months. Just went over the van frount to back top to bottom. I have a question about the shower and the hot water system? Our shower is a combined mixer for the water the top tap adjusts the water from 38 degrees and by pushing an a smal button you can turn it around to hotter or alternativly back the other way for colder. The bottom tap just turns the shower on and only reulates the pressure. have any of you out there, one of these showers ours is fitted to a Coromal 615 and how do you find the tempreture I like a really hot show and its not doing the job it's like a tad over tempured.

you may well find that is as hot as legally allowed these days. cant remember what the temp is but its not very hot and the only way to check is with a thermonitor. I used to have to do weekly water temp checks at an aged care home, maybe 60 degrees,
cheers

ps if this is the case there will be a temp control unit that filters cold water into the hot system to maintain the temp, so no matter how high your water heater is it will only come out at the pre determin temp
Apparently, by law a tempering valve must be fitted to the shower and basin line, this will bleed cold water in to maintain a temp between 50 and 60 C. This valve should be adjustable and will be located somewhere between the heater and shower. Perhaps yours is turned down too low.
Is the water hotter from the sink tap?
