I'm no spring chicken, at various times throughout my life I/we have used laundromat facilities quite regularly and will continue to do so.
I/we have yet to contract the plague, distemper, parvo, aids, equine influenza or venereal warts from one of them and have never heard of anyone who has, just lucky I guess
I suspect those who have a fear of contracting a medical condition from laundromats may already be suffering from nosophobia.
Nope no fear of getting ill from using a laundromat, but I am highly allergic to dogs and cats, and the animal hair that stays in the washer and dryer goes onto the next load until it is gone. I have seen people come in to a laundromat to wash all their animal beds, blankets, coats etc, as they don't want to stuff up their machine This is a problem for people like me
I am with you on this one Grams ,these people who have a phobia over useing a washing machine that other people use...wonder what they think of sleeping on a pillow /mattress in a motel/ hotel /cabin/ hospital.A lot more nasties in a mattress than a washing machine. We just wipe out before use with disinfectant.

Thats why I decided to get a van. All my own stuff that I know whats in it an where its been lol. Hand wash things rather than use cp machines. If I had room for a washing machine I would have one.

I do not think they would be much chop.], just another one of those gadget thingo's .Like most of the things they try to sell through TV.
I resisted getting a washing machine for quite awhile. The navigator wanted a new van, so when we got it built I had a tray with a drain hole through the floor placed under the washing machine. Like some people I had visions of a flooded caravan and leaking hoses. The washing machine has paid for itself aready. The tray saved most of the water from going into the van when the drain hose leaked.
The main plus is that our clothes are always clean.
Hi Everyone, The Wasser 5kg Twin Tub (pink & white) we ordered last weekend arrived Thursday. As I was very curious to see how it would wash and spin I opened it immediately. I had our heavy bath sheets in the washing machine so took then out and put them in twin tub. In was very surprised at the power and pleased to find that the wash bowl does so many turns clockwise then the same amount anti clockwise so the clothes don't tangle. The spinner took 1 bath sheet and although didn't spin it out as well as the home machine it was certainly dryer than what we could achieve hand wringing. Will let you know how it performs on the road. 10 sleeps before we leave. Thanks Chevy
Can I ask where you got the haier? Is it the HLP21N Pulsator? I have been searching for once in Oz but can only find them in US. Fantastic review on YouTube.
