ok here's something i have heard about that might be a bit of fun for anyone in the area,, a small Adelaide hills town called macclesfield, which is between Medows and Strathalbyn (gps it) is hold it's first gravity festival on the 1st sunday after easter,, what is a gravity festival,, well i didn't know either until i looked into it,,a new name for billy cart racing,, might be a bit of fun if anyone is around and looking for something to do,, check out the facebook page,, macclesfield gravity festival for info...also in May the 1st weekend in fact is the Gumeracha medieval fair, a 2 day event which just keeps getting better and better, (the bride and I were married there in 2010) in full costume,,, the 2 day event is well worth the visit,, Gumeracha is in the hills, not far from Handorf (gps it again),, just thought I'd throw these couple of events in for those who dare to be different
