I have gone

No, not mad, although some would say I am already mad. Me, myself and I, oh, and Jenni came with us, have gone from Greens Lake and now in South West Gippsland.

We will be here for 3 weeks then heading North to bend some bananas for a while.

Of course there are special plantations for straight bananas.  It is Queenslands way of creating employment in the state.biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Kaid, I was talking to the farmer just last week who pioneered the red tip bananas and he is no longer farming. You'll just have to learn to eat the yellow ones.

Can anyone tell us why they were dipped in red wax. I bought some the other day at Woolies as they were cheaper than the "Normal" ones.

Now you're talking! It's probably a Qld thing, but we used to get deep fried bananas with ice cream at the drive in when I was a teen. Yum! I also like bananas on the BBQ with the usual meat.

Looking forward to meeting you on your way through Doug. Happy travels!
