I remember getting good prices for a camping mattress, folding table with shelves to cook on, and next thing I knew we had ordered a camper-trailer and made the first items redundant!
Nowadays we go just to look at all the toys, and maybe have an ice-cream

We purchased our first van [11ft 1980 Millard pop top] a few days before last year's Victorian camping show so we are really looking forwars to this years one, being a little more knowledgable this time round.
Did anyone get great deals on camping chairs or anything else for that matter at previous shows?
We just got 2 chairs from BB Galore at $78 each been looking for a while but not all seems to be sitting nice , this one are pretty good Hope this will help you dear
At last years show we got a folding table and a Gasmate bbq, both considerably cheaper than the best prices we had found before the show, though I can't now remember how much we paid. We also bought Clearview mirrors for $50 cheaper than the normal price. The main thing is to know the real price you will pay normally, check in stores and on the internet before you go, as some things were not bargains at all.
We are going again this year, as my husbands birthday is the week before it and our daughter will again be giving him tickets to it as his birthday present. This time will be looking for a shade wall for the awning.
We have "outback adventures" here in Brisbane and find they are always a good price. We have been to a few of these shows but mainly look. Good luck , hope you find some worthwhile goodies.
Going to buy a Honda genny and we are waiting for the Sydney caravan Show because they may be cheaper. However there is one for $1650 complete with bag and security cable on E-bay! What to do????
