Lemon powder

Saw a recipe for fish cakes which included Super Sprouts lemon powder. Never heard of it. Ring any bells? Supermarket queries have been fruitless.

Cheers, Tony

That's great if you can afford it.   Won't fit my budget.

Lemons were a $1 each today. Apparently there is a shortage. WW haven't had any for a week.

Got me going on this one, perhaps I juice lemons and dehydrate in the sunbeam dryer?   Have to clean it up first, last thing done was beef jerky.

You did say 'fruitless', right? Was that a pun? Anyway, what you do is stick a small grater in your pocket, nick into the fruit & veg section of the supermarket, grab a lemon, pretend to be inspecting it while you grate the rind into an envelope, replace lemon, put envelope and grater back in pocket, leave. Actually, chopped lemon rind in the fish cake mix makes a yummy difference.

Never heard of it, sounds like you might have to to one of those specialty food stores, but wow then you sart paying out big time. My wife just zests the rind from the lemon.she finds if you grate it it is not fine enough.
