Rain

It is piss...sistently coming down today here at Burrum.  Not much fun for those with tarps on the roof after tornado two weeks ago.

It seems to be following me around. I left NQ to get away from the wet, and the cyclone followed me south.I went down to nsw to get away from the rain and it followed me there. Now on Straddy Is , and its pouring here. They are calling me "rain Man". Bugga. Bill

Bill, or rain man would you mind keeping on coming further south. Rain would be good at present.

We're the opposite.
We'd love a good downpour as we haven't had a drop since before Christmas.

Bill12 - you could have left the rain here for a while - we need more. Just remember there will be many people who appreciate you taking the rain with you - most of the time anyway!

Love Straddie  ... but get ready for LOTS more tonight ....  It'll be beautiful when the sun comes out.

Gee I evvy you ...  even with the rain

We stop at Amity in the van, just near the Jetty (go over there when they have the annual barge specials), but many years ago had a wonderful week with my son in a mate's on site van at Dunwich ... just took our push bikes & back packs ....  fantastic.  Caught big bream 50m from the van & cooked them on the BBQ plate on the fore shore, picked up oysters washed off the nearby leases.  Played golf on the mudflats at low tide & watched the dolphins play at high tide while watching the sun set over Brissy  .. all in the same little bay in front of the van.

Last time there I took one of my kayaks & paddled over to the bottom of Moreton Is., on the right tide. Bliss !! (but had the electric motor on the back just in case).

It'al be ruined if they build a bridge across.  'Can Do's' lot is looking at it now.

Bloody rain is thundering down here in Brissy as I write.
