So...15amp power lead to get 240v in the van....

Alright...alright you all shamed me into purchasing an Ampfibian RV-02 today on Fleabay for $215 including postage...keen price I feel...its the model with the RCD-Residual Current as well......I have used the short 10 Amp lead into the all weather connector to 15Amp lead for many years ......I guess I'm no orphan am I?..... I had not considered the Insurance aspects of having a claim for either house or Caravan damage rejected on the basis of how my caravan was connected.....thanks to all contributors on this thread....coming from Melbourne by Courier..free..I hope nothing happens in the interim...Hoo Roo.

If you want to cool the fridge down before departure just poke a 10A extension lead through the door/window and plug it directly into the fridge cord.

I am sure you don't have a guillotine door so it will be safe enough without upsetting the power Nazis.
