Any comments on van from Carrum Downs Van Crusuiser would be greatly appreciated

I googled and found a "Van Cruiser" Camper-trailer, which was a canvas fold-out type, not an A-van?... which one do you mean gooba53?

Welcome gooba53, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I am assuming you mean the Avan Cruisliner, if so, I have the "Sportliner" and love it, I have just done a major 12v upgrade and all is working as I now want. The Cruisliner is also great and is the bigger one so more room.

Without being too negative, don't expect any after sales service, I'll leave it at that for now.

Hello again Gooba53

I answered your post last night ?? and said I had not heard of '' VANCRUISER'' and I had not ??? However with this post I now see you are talking about the   A-VAN - CRUISER model ???? and Yes I have Heard of this model, As Dougwe has told you, he has the smaller Version, and he is a very happy camper with his. So you should also be very happy with yours, even more so as it is a bigger and roomier version.

I have not owned the Camper model, But I had a A-van Erin 16'6'' pop-top caravan that I bought new in 2004, and kept until i updated to a full Ensuite van in 2011

I travelled well over 35000 Klm in that Van and was very happy with it, gave no problems except little things like trim coming off and  broken plastic door handles, All little things really that could happen to any brand, I fixed them all myself, Which was a good thing ?? as Dougwe hinted at ?? after sales service from A-van Factory is NON-EXISTENT ?? and if you do a search on the web and find any A-van owners that got any service from the factory point them out to me, as i have not seen one positive comment

That said [ the company aside ? ] every one I know that has owned an A-van be it the Camper, poptop, or full van , have all been happy with the purchase, with very little trouble ?

some people , on some forums, do 'can' Avans ??? BUT ! they have never owned one, so thier opinions are just that ''opinions'' ?  So now that I know that it is the A-van cruiser you are looking at, IMHO if you are happy with that type of Camper trailer, Then it should serve you well, and I wish you many, many, safe and Happy travels in it

OOHH yeh ?? Welcome to the forum from me as well,  Dazren
