Busy at Mount Hutton (Lake Macquarie NSW) too. Towing mirrors nearly all sold out before 9.00 am.

Busy at Mudgee too. Probably 30 - 50 outside the door at 8:20. Got a double step as Sandra has a bit of trouble getting into the castle due to raised chassis/suspension. Step is easily 6" higher than the Fiamma one supplied with the van

I think that was in Europe and it was a supplier that was using the horse meat and that Aldi was a victim (one of a number) of the scam not the perpetrator.  I have generally found that Aldi supply brand-name quality at a generic price.

The bits I bought seem to be of reasonable quality at a much cheaper price, I guess time will tell.

I looked at the quality of some of it and as the saying goes........"You get what you pay for" ....But then again some is good, you just have to be cautious and make sure it is up to the standard that suits your needs. I have bought a lot of things from Aldi and they are great. Have had good reports about their TVs and Tablets... Sarg.

Everything we've bought from them has been really good but we don't do our normal grocery shopping there. I will say though that their Highland Beef scotch fillet & rump is consistently as good as I've tasted.

I buy at Aldi regularly, have no qualms at all. When I get the chance I will stock up, as all Aldis are at least 100ks from me. Did a big shop at Kingaroy Aldi on the way home last week. Should be right for a while now.

I shop at Aldi when ever I can as they are cheaper, they have more Australian content and if they don't have Australian most of it comes from Europe. They have a lot better quality controls and health standards than Korea China and some of the others.

BE careful of NZ product as much of that is shipped from China and then reshipped due to the import loop holes.

I top up the things I want from independents and food save etc.

Regards
Brian
