Suspension upgrade for Sprinter 515D

Has anyone had an experience with upgrading the suspension on a Sprinter 515D, mine is a cab-chassis with a slide on camper on the tray with a storage box, it's just going over 4 years old and has 119,000k's on the clock, the ride has never been too grand but on dirt it's terrible, I would be interested in anyone who could recommend any suspension people who have experience with the Sprinters and parabolic springs, Mercedes don't offer much apart from a 2' lift kits and hose extensions on the brake hoses and for an outlandish price, the pic will give you an idea of the rig.

Thanks.

Kevin.

Dunno about Sprinters but another member of Grey Nomads who has the same ute as mine, a Ford Courier, suggested Ironman LoadPlus helper springs. He said they've made an enormous difference to his rig in terms of stability and ride. I bought a set on eBay for $125 + $25 shipping and had my local Ford dealer fit them for a little over $100. Enter Ironman LoadPlus into Google and take a look at their site.

Hi Kevin,
I would access this Forum and do a search, you will find some good info on it as well a DIY instructions Photos and Videos on just about anything on a Sprinter.

If a search does not come up with the goods, I would join and ask a question. There are some very experienced Sprinter people on this and the US Forum. In some instances if you live near one of these experienced people they will help you out.

Thanks guys,

I take note of both suggestion, I've emailed Lovell for info, the sprinter has rear parabolic springs, which I believe to be not easy to reset, if the can be reset, which was why I was hopeing to hear from someone with a sprinter, who has done an upgrade, looking for the easy way out, yes I know but who isn't? the helper springs I'm not sure of with the parabolic springs but will look in to it. Thanks.

Kevin.

Kevin,
Eric, On the Sprinter Forum to me is the most knowledgeable Sprinter person in OZ, he worked on/fixed a problem with a Sprinter in his workshop that I know of, that Adelaide Suspension people did not know about the fix. When I visted him in his workshop on the way to Tassie, an Mechanical Engineering Professor/lecturer from a Melbourne Uni was going to discuss something with him after I left.
