SECURITY SYSTEMS

I have been looking for a security system for our caravan, we have a small dog and she is sometimes locked in the van if we go out so one of those you beaut beam type would not do it for us she would set it off at the first movement, also been looking at a locking device with an alarm for the outside stuff like the solar panels and sat dish, we never leave our engel out for temptation either it lives in the car or if it's out we put it inside when we go away. Ideas welcome :)

Don't forget thieves know how to use bolt-cutters.   I wouldn't be leaving anything outside at all.

Cheers,

Sheba.

12 gauge set up as a wombat gun on the old three way outside the front door as a drink fridge!

Honestly, why?

Don't make it obvious you have something to steal!

Bocsh and other manufacturers make domestic and commercial wireless alarm systems.I have installed many of these over the past few years, there are pet friendly sensors that do not go into alarm unless your dog or cat is over 30 kg.You can also use wireless sensors on your out door items using magnetic contacts.Relay contacts in the alarm panel can be used for turning on lights etc.If required , you can receive a text ,if  an event occurs at the caravan when your not there.

With todays technology ,its almost limitless to what you can do,its only a matter of adapting the equipment to your requirements.

If you buy personal alarms from jay car or dick smiths and 12ft heavy gage fishing trace tie heavy gage to the item you need to protect and to your van and and a lighter gage to the alarm fixed to the van when they move quickly from the van the alarm goes off and the heaven line stops them dead. You can set these up differant ways cheaply.
