I just learnt that Ho Chi Minh, of Vietnam origins, worked as a barman in some swish Hotel in Paris, then goes on to do what he did under the name of communism!  I wonder what his favourite drink was?

Just sort of makes me think of where Papa Doc, Pol Pott, Mao and Kenyatta actually started.  Another one was Idi Amin.  I believe he even went to school in England, but that may be just heresay or a greatly exaggerated lie generated by the television people.  I also believe that Albert Namijira was an Australian Painter.  Isn't funny how the emoticonno can really bring out the worst in people particularly in an environment such as this!

I actually thought that this would be an interesting trivial fact.

Well Pol Pott (born Saloth Sar) went to a technical school and won a scholarship to study radio in france. He was a nasty piece of work too.

people still line up to see Ho Chi Min's body every day. he is still very much respected and adored. hungary people wont even pick up the fruit that drops on the ground in his old residence. his body goes to Russia a few weeks a year to get re-embalmed
