we have just returned from a cruise this morning and had a great time I might add ,but we are so glad to be back in our van and on the road again. we were sitting at the breakfast table on the cruise ship and started chatting to the other guests at the table and all were nomads but one lady in particular told us that she is the operator with her hubby as well of the grey nomad online store and has the legal rights to the name grey nomad ,what a lovely woman ,we had a great chat about her travels and how her husband and herself started up the store and travelled with their nomad supplies and sold them on the road ,who would have guessed that we would meet up
I think I met them in Adelaide a few years ago at the Caravan and Camping Show. I had a goody bag from their stand. There are a few who claim to have the sole rights to anything with "grey nomad" on it. This site is known as "The Grey Nomads", and all that entails. Copyright and Trade Marks are a funny thing. I haven't come across any other "Cruising Granny" persons yet, and neither I should, although I haven't patented or trade marked it, but I do have the Copyright to it.
