Some of the artists of the 60's are revising their hitswith new lyrics to accommodate aging baby boomers who can remember doing the "Limbo as if it were yesterday. Seems as though I know them all! They include:
Bobby Darin --- Splish, Splash, I Was Havin' A Flash Herman's Hermits --- Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Walker Ringo Starr --- I Get By With A Little Help From Depends The Bee Gees -- - How Can You Mend A Broken Hip? Roberta Flack--- The First Time Ever I Forgot Your Face? ? Johnny Nash --- I Can't See Clearly Now.? Paul Simon--- Fifty Ways To Lose Your Liver The Commodores --- Once, Twice, Three Times To The Bathroom Procol Harem--- A Whiter Shade Of Hair? Leo Sayer ---You Make Me Feel Like Napping The Temptations ---Papa's Got A Kidney Stone Abba--- Denture Queen "You haven't seen my teeth have you Wilma? Tony Orlando --- Knock 3 Times On The Ceiling If You Hear Me Fall
Helen Reddy --- I Am Woman, Hear Me Snore
Leslie Gore--- It's My Procedure, and I'll Cry If I Want To
That is excellent Beth, only thing is I think sadly we are all starting to relate to some or all of the titles. I had a wake up call this morning, went up to the local shop to buy some things for Lunch, the chap behind the register asked me if I had a seniors card. I know I must have looked a sight and probably not smelling too good either as I had been cleaning windows and mowing lawns, so yeah probably looked all of my years plus some. Had a good laugh to myself when I got back to the car.

Yes, I can relate to a few of them too Sharon. And I've been asked about Seniors cards too. Only 18 months to go so I must be looking that way these days. I suppose it's about time. I've always been told I don't look my age. But it's usually when I have the spakfilla on!
