I think you'll find it no longer exists. You won't find another one on south side of Sydney until you are down near Heathcote I think. People say Lane Cove is good. But why not try Wanderest at Richmond - 20 mins off the M7 and on the train line into Sydney. $10/night for power if you can get it otherwise free after joining the Richmond Club.
By the way, welcome to the forum castaways. Enjoy your time here.

Yes, but if you look at it a bit closer, it doesn't have powered sites. I assume that castaways want a powered site. If they only want a cabin or a space for a campervan that's OK.
Note it says 'Sydney's closest apartment style accommodation'.

We stayed there in 2008, didn't have any problems getting our 20'6" van on site, but at that time there was a development application notice on display so I am surprised it is still open, thought they were about to turn it into apartments. It could be that the site we stayed on is no longer available.
Hi, don't know about the van park you asked about, but Lane Cove we found to be great, you feel like you re in the middle of the bush but only bout 10kms fom the cbd
There is another park close to the CBD at Ramsgate or Rockdale called Sheralee c/van Pk (which is close to Sydney Airport). We stayed there 2 years ago,a lot of permanents, amenities had just been renovated and $45 a night at xmas time was pretty good. They wont take bookings ring when close or the day before. Walk to Railway and Buses for a trip into the city. I'd rate the park a 2.5 Location to city 7.
Another choice for you to consider is the Nepean River Holiday Village out at Emu Plains/Penrith. It is an easy walk to the railway station and a very nice park. Think it was around $33/nt. It's part of the Family Park chain.

Hi we have only been on the road for 5 months but we think we have found the worst caravan park so far..I asked if anyone has any reviews on the Grand Pines Tourist Park but only a few had heard of it..its hard to put into words how disappointed we are..if only they would have refunded us our $150 we wouldn't have even bothered to unhook our van..Its a real shocker..mouldy bathrooms, toilets that still need a chain to flush, only 1 bathroom door locks, near impossible to reverse a caravan into and the rudest managers
