I like it when people put a short autobiographical note on their "info" page - helps to know where people are from (general area is fine- even just the state) - and what their interests are, also their rigs. Well that is my thought anyway - do others think this?

I agree wholeheartedly!!!! I used to look at each one when I first joined so I could get to know the person a little but was very disappointed when most of the time there was nothing there.

My ghost writer is working on mine as we speak. Plenty of celebrities, members of the Royal Family and sporting stars lining up to be included. A couple of movie studios are talking to my people.

How did you guess?
This would have to be the first time ever that I have been called a "ranga".
Every other name for a true redhead but never Ranga

Also would be a good idea to update the biography occasionally. Some of the details can be rather old hat as I found out when I checked mine a while ago.
I don't mind putting some info in my profile but have decided not to put date of birth and specific location due to the number of members we have that are members but never post. I just want to protect my identity a bit. But like others, I often check on profiles to get some background to a poster.
I decided I also better check my biography and have updated it like HW.

Yep - general info - first name etc, and maybe a bit of a blurb about yourself etc. I understand the id protection bit - I often check on profiles, just to see who I am reading about.
