Maybe try clearing your history and cookies? It's been working fine for me.

 Gday...

Thanks gordon ... dun that hmm and even on this thread ... when I got the email you had replied, I opened the forum, to the General Forum, clicked on Forum Subject to open thread and my thread, you had replied to, and your reply were not there .... I had to hit Refresh to have the full thread appear - including your reply hmm

Guess it will al be sorted out in time. [edit: and when I returned to the General Forum screen, it still shows the Forum must be fixed thread as 'unread' (in bold)]

[2nd edit: When I returned to General Forum after doing the first edit, it still showed Forum must be fixed thread as 'unread' (bold) - so I hit Refresh and lo and behold - it "unbolded" and became 'read' - strange happenings methinks )]

Cheers - John

No, that doesn't work for me, tried it a number of times.   I am running Windows 7 using IE, what are you using Gordon?

When you first post it, the posted thread comes up, but when you return to the thread it isn't, are you returning to the thread Gordon to see if it has come up again?  That is when I need to hit refresh to get it to show.

One other problem I have as well as what the others who are affected are experiencing is I removed my avatar to put on another one and the big long tab you use to search for another is not responding, have tried it a number to times on different occasions now but no go.

I just noticed I don't have to hit refresh all the time so Cindy must have fixed things. Job well done Cindy. Amazing what a band aid will do. smile

Keep up the good work Cindy and Team, and,

Gday...

Not fixed for me either hmm   Any post I read still shows as "unread" after I have opened it, and 'new' posts and/or replies show on The Grey Nomads Forum main page, but do not appear on the sub-forum when I open it.

Still, patience is something I need to practice - so time will fix it all.

Cheers - John

I am still having trouble seeing my previous post. Have to change from newest to oldest then back to newest for it to appear. very frustrating.

I'm using chrome. Don't know why but it's working fine for me.

I'm the same as Rockylizard.   Be so glad when it's all fixed.  Sure is taking them long enough.  [ I know it's not Cindys' fault.]

Cheers,

Sheba.

I'm having trouble as well, but I just thought I was being punished for the long absence. If any of my posts appear twice it's because the site allowed me to write a quicky reply, but it didn't keep it. I was wondering where it went, so I apologise if I bore your with repetition.

I am still having trouble - put a reply into a post, and it doesn't show up for ages, if at all - but usually after I have gone out and come back on it is there - but I am sure it will get fixed soon.
