It is bluddy hot up here. today was 40 deg in Quirindi. Chaffey does not have much in the way of shady sites although there are a couple of good spots.
roads thru the camp are always dusty too so you might need to keep the windows near the road closed(difficult when it's so flamin hot)
how are you coping biggles?
There are about 4 powered sites up near the amenities block if you need power.

yeah .. about 37 up here today .. the breeze is good .. dust .. yeah .. its still around .. They've got a bunch of young 'uns coming on Monday and staying for a week like last year and they take up the space near the amenities block ..
Not all that many here at the moment .. lotsa weekenders here with their boats then it will quieten down again for a while .. oh .. and I seldom park in the shade .. like to keep the solar working ..
If you want to get away from the heat maybe "sus" out the higher ground up behind Nundle in the Hanging rock area. I seem to recall a camp ground (from many years ago) in the pine forest up that way.
Yes Jim .. I think I know the one you mean .. passed it last year on the way to Hanging Rock.. did appear a little crowded and untidy but haven't checked it out this year yet ..

Hi Jude ..
Back into town tomorrow for supplies, but then probably back out here for week or so .. have friends that have a property about 11 k's out on Manilla Rd and I've been offered a camp spot on their property down by a creek for the duration of the festival if I so choose .. still haven't made up my mind on that yet ..
