outside at all here in South West Gippsland Victoria. It looks just like it did before Ash Wednesday and Black Saturday. I hope it's not what it looks like and blows over and my feeling is wrong.

I hear ya. 44 here tomorrow in SA. We've already had a few fires and hoping the psycho firebugs don't get all freaky tomorrow. I've got a bad feeling though. Stay safe everyone and keep hydrated.
I hear you to Doug, we can only hope !! and with the hot weather to last about a week ! it is fingers crossed, and if we do get fires, lets hope they are not accompanied by those bloody strong winds. If so please anybody in the firepath LEAVE EARLY !! You cannot fight those types of fires,
Very hot here already, not long out of bed and air con on already. Will duck up town soon for a few things and back home quickly. Supposed to get to 42.
As the weather "does its thing" we are all anxious about fires, let alone suffering in the heat. Hoping everybody is safe and comfortable wherever you are.
Queenslanders might need to read the longer forecast. I thought I read today that the hot temps will be followed by a tropical cyclone which will drop heavy rain in the tropics!
