Double Island Point / Rainbow Beach

what is your problem if I may ask

we have rules everywhere so live by it

sorry that it sound a bit harsh , I used to work all kinds of night shifts in Sydney and got sometimes stopped by the cops 3 times a night ,

they only doing there job as I did mine ( never had a problem with them )

so be nice to them  they would like to be at home instead of working just like anybody else

Your thoughts

From Noosa North Shore to Rainbow Beach requires a pemit to drive on the beach & also to camp on the beach !! {most locals have an issue with that anyway} Signs clearly tell you at the barge that ALL road rules apply on the beach & that ALL vehicles must be registerd & Road worthy as it is a designated highway.

My next door neighbour had a day trip on the beach yesterday, he purchased a permit {$16.00} for the day, no camping, no problem !!  Sometime during the day he was waved down & stopped by two Qld Parks & Wildlife rangers to chech pemits !! He did stop, but felt that what right do they have to pull over a vehicle ? {On Frazer they have a police officer to stop the vehicle while the ranger checks permits}

Question is: Would you stop for a person dressed in a Qld parks uniform on the beach ? bearing in mind it is a National Highway as such.{would you stop if on the Bruce highway or the New England} ??

Some years ago drivers on Frazer refused to stop for a Ranger, that is why they now have police Officers with them, disobey a Police officer you have a problem, disobey a ranger !! so what !!

He has an interesting point i think.

If you read the question, I have no problem it was my next door neighbour had the problem, also the question was: "Would you stop" simple yes or no !! you clearly would, beeing stopped by police officers in uniform is a little different to being stopped by some one not in a uniform, as i said, that is why they have a police officer with them now on Frazer
As for being nice to them, when I have the problem then yes I will be
Thank you for your response.
