Wardell, NSW - Sandalwood CP

The Sandalwood CP at Wardell (a few kilometres south of Ballina), even in the week leading up to Christmas, charged us just $25/night for a powered site - far less than some of their competitors up and down the north coast. It's a very pleasant park, lots of room, shady spots if you prefer.

Hi Andrea, I was just about to post the same thing. We are here at the moment and just loving it. The management are the friendliest we have encountered. Amenities are clean and spacious even a bath tub with bath bubbles supplied. My favourite is that there is a large open space for dogs to run off lead. .

G'day all. we are here as well and can only agree with both previous posts. it has to be one of the best kept secrets of the area. we only booked in for 2 days and now are staying 2 months. what we save on petrol more than covers the cost. we are in no hurry to be anywhere so the stay is no concern to us.
