I'm sick to death of messing with el cheapo stuff, so just ordered a Jaymec Pem 2000 tyre inflator javascript:mctmp(0); biggrin

 G'day Chris, guess I was a little economical with words in my original post, bought it for use at home, hooked up to my compressor, it's replacing a $20 el cheapo that I've never really trusted, hope that makes things a little clearer.

I've heard they are stolen from service stations pretty regularly, cheaper than having to buy one I guessno

You have lost me a bit. On the link Sheba has cited this is merely a "tyre pressure gauge".  It will accurately show tyre pressure but won't inflate without a suitable compressor or pump.Maybe I missed something.
