FOLDING PLASTIC CLOTHES BASKET

I saw one just today in the Reject Shop. It had the solid bottom. I was actually thinking, what could I use that for?! biggrin Now I know!

I'm looking for a  fold up plastic clothes basket to replace my present one. (10 years old). The one  which all four sides fold in (type of thing). It folds up flat.

Can anybody point me in the right direction.

My wife just told me we brought the original one at BBC Tuggerah. I have checked other places like Bunnings but to no avail.

Try some of the "cheepie" shops - they often have jut what you need.

There is a fold up basket in the Reject shops in NSW, I think they are multi use baskets.

Mine is a miniature version of a pop-up tent. When folded it fits into my peg bag. About $5 from a Cheap shop.

Big W and Kmart as well.

But check the bottoms, some of them are just plain net. wink

I bought one from Howards Storage World. It is a rectangular clear plastic box and all four sides fold down onto the base. I use it at home as I have limited space and it will take a full load of clothes from the machine.

Spotted some at Crazy Clarks yesterday. Was thinking of getting one for the van but then found a three piece mesh laundry set at Big W. The basket is like a shower tent arrangement, 34cm square x 58cm high (self supporting but folds to the size of a dinner plate. Was also a mesh laundry bag about 90cm x 35cm and a mesh bag for washing delicates. Bloody good value at $10 in my opinion & ideal for the van.

I have one of those folding mesh bag things too - holds a full load (and more) and I got mine at the supermarket.

Sis has tried all types of bags, crates etc over their many years of travelling, and finds this is best for her.

Plastic boxes, with lids, about 40x30x30, one each, and sits them on the floor at the foot of the bed where the doona hangs over. She rolls everything up very tight and finds that works for her. They have a washer in the van, so she does a load every day or second day.

It depends on your available space. Mine is a work in progress. wink

Try typing 'fold up basket' into eBay & you will get a few suggestions.

Cheers
