Tomorrow we leave our motorhome stored at daughters place near Rockhampton & we will drive in the Suzuki to Maroohydore. Does everyone agree that the best way to go will be via Biloela/Monto & so avoid all the road works on the Bruce Highway?
Drove the highway Sat. 1st. Dec. and no roadworks being undertaken between Benaraby south of Gladstone (south Awonga dam turnoff.) and Childers at all. Stopped south of Childers maybe 1 minute and straight through. We considered the inland route and it adds 2 more hours from Gladstone to Caboolture so thought better of it.
I guess it is luck of the draw. Maybe they will be working , maybe not.
But we travelled on Sunday on the way up and no roadworks at all and Sat. coming back.
