nappisan

I have been using the cheap Coles or Woolies version of napi san for years.

One heaped capfull & an eyedropper of 100% eucalyptus oil for the odor.

Then a jug of hot water to disolve the powder.

A squirt of olive oil aerosol on the rubbers and bowl for lubrication & the job's done, or ready to be done.

Works for she & me.

Interesting Cupie, how effective is the eucalyptus oil at cutting down the odour?smile

I have found "WHITE KING" with 34 % active ingredient of "Sodium Percarbonate" to be the best plus a few drops of eucalyptus oil for the odor. Works out very cheap to.

Mine don't smell, only do wees.lol

I guess the higher percentage of 'Sodium Percarbonate", the less you need to use.

That's the idea jetj - I think the original brand has about 26%, but the cheaper ones have abut 34% (from memory).

 In a word  ... Very

I have one of those cheap plastic baskets with a bit of polly stryne ( two bits of a brocoli box) in the bottom with  cut outs for the containers of  napi san, eucalyptus, olive oil spray, an eyedropper and a couple of as yet unused fragrant oils like lavender and rosemary.  The basket lives in a cupboard beside the toilet with the spare duck bowl cleanser, deodoriser spray & extra toilet rolls.

We always turn on the extractor fan when using the toilet.  Odour is not a problem for 1s & 2s.

A spray bottle & bottle of 50% listerene mouth wash, for mossies & sandflies lives there too.  Yes it works also.

I use the Napisan, usually the Wollies one, and spray olive oil on the rings and the bowl. I also have a spray can of Euacalyptus oil for odours and as a disinfectant.

I dissolve one cap of napisan in 2 cups of warm water. I also don't put water in the top tank, as I found it didn't always direct the water where needed, if you get my drift. So I have a bottle of water handy and pour from the top.

Also a big pack of disinfectant wipes for everything that might need a wipe over. I know this adds to the rubbish bag, but I find it so much easier. The floor of my little van is small so I also clean the floor with them.
