Finally the day is here, we are on the road to Where Ever!
Actually first stop is Texas by the Dumaresq River.
Hope to meet some of you out there soon.
Cheers
Take it from me Chris and Peter you will enjoy every second out in the playground and I tell you that for free. I am solo but have been made feel welcome everywhere I went. A lot of members of this forum have stayed at your first stop as well and I havn't heard any bad reports about it yet so enjoy.

Which general direction do you intend to head after Texas, Chris
Darrell & Sandra
Darrell and Sandra - and we are staying till Wednesday and then we are heading just a little way down the road to Wells Crossing or Pindari Dam
- we haven't been to either before so will decide when we get there.
Then off to Bingara slowly making our way down to the Murray.
We are not too sure where to spend Xmas - any suggestions?
I have the whole of 2013 off work so we are doing it slowly, don't particularly care how far we get, just want to experience some of this wonderful country.
See you out there - Cheers

Mendooran is a very nice free camp as is Terramungamine near Dubbo (one night only). Gum Bend at Condobolin is absolutely magic but over Christmas would probably be overrun with the skiing fraternity, etc.
