12 volt step up converter


just bought 12v converter to drive puter mains supply said  18.5 v but converter does  18 or 19 v not 18.5 which one do i use or take it back and try to find right one its for a compaq breed

I have a jaycar converter which I charge my Toshiba laptop on 19v. It draws 3.7 amps at 12v according to my smart meter on my solar panels.I would set it for 19v, and take a chance. Better to much than two little.Bill

 Cannot see any reason for concern, if it has the correct wattage rating.
