Welcome from us poliver. I'll stick my neck out and say we only have a generator and have never had a noise problem - often other noises are louder than the genie. And we never run it all night (put it away about 8.30pm) even though my hubby has a sleep apnoea machine and probably should use it. We can't afford solar at this time.
