New website looks great

Well done Cindy and crew. You have given us a great new look, some extra services, and the same good old-fashioned friendly forums.

We're proud of you.

Congratulations.blankstareblankstare

Maybe its only good-looking people who can see the new good-looking one? confuse

Nice looking set - great layout - well done.

If you can't see it, you may have to refresh your browser by pressing F5.

A newbie comments:

The revamped 'website' is attractive and informative and (hopefully) fit-for-purpose.

I trust its not too rude of me to suggest there is a few little 'bugs' that need resolve; however the overall first impression is one of progress and invitation.

Congratulations to all concerned.

the site looks good, but ever so slow to respond.  I clicked on the Grey Nomads story about Barb from Victoria point, and got stuck.  Currently in the shop, i am stuck again.  Hopefully this will improve with time.  Would love to check out the entire site, but afraid of "getting stuck"

Got on it after a while, [ Thought I was in the wrong place for a few seconds.  Looks great Cindy.]  looked at a news item, hit the Back button, and am having a devil of a job getting back to it, even after Refreshing more than once.

Like the look of what I managed to see, but want to be able to access it much easier than I can at present.

What else can I do ?

Cheers,

Sheba.

Hi everybody,
Thanks for the kind words about the site. Clearly, we're having issues with loading speed at least in some browsers. Hopefully we can get things sorted out soon.  Thanks for your patience.

The main page took ages to load in IE earlier, once loaded looks good.

Press on ,,, your efforts will be acknowledged, this site is a bonus for travellers.

Cheers

Great new look, with lots of new bits to have a look at. I tried to order some stickers but I couldn't get past the "Click on PayPal Button", I suspect the system is clogged up with everyone trying to order stickers at the same time.

Thanks Wombat for your kind offer, but I think I'll pass.

Just tried to order stickers again and it worked. I must have typed an incorrect card number.

Hi

I had the new web site home page this morning and now it has gone, when I shut down and reload it comes back as the original home page to the site.

Are others having this problem.

Ditto for me.  This morning much faster to navigate around the site, but I also could not get past the "Click on PayPal Button", which does not appear on the screen.

Just tried ordering stickers again. This time got to the page to set up PayPal account, but it won't accept Australia Post Load & Go card number. I don't have a credit card, so I guess I will not be able to order stickers.cry

I have two of the old stickers if you would like to purchase them from me, you will need to apply some new glue, for the two stickers only $40 each as they are very hard to come by these days, this price includes shipping. biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Wombat, they must be a rarity at that price.

Finally got into the front page late last night and saw all the bright colours but was running out of power so will have another look later.
Worked out why I wasn't seeing it at first. I go straight to the forum. Didn't realise I neededto click on the website front page.
