Hi Robyn, heading east out of Mildura there are some great spots at Marina Point in the Kings Billabong area or a little further around Psyche Bend pumping station area. The info centre would be able to help you locate these spots. Don't try and drive between them as the track has been badly cut up with deep wheel tracks when wet earlier this year so access is restricted from each end of Kings Billabong loop. Also to west you can camp at Merbein Common or a little further near the bridge across to Wentworth. All these spots are 10 to 15 minute drives into Mildura.

Rod56 Thank you for the information, we are currently at Robinvale til tomorrow, went to the vic here yesterday & was told that there is not a lot of free camping around Mildura. Hence my request on the forum
We spent a week at Psyche Bend in February this year, before the river levels rose, nice high spot, but not sure what it will be like now since the rain.
