RE: The Pie Buyer's Guide to Australia

If you're ever in the north side of Sydney, Brookie Pies on Warringah road Brookvale makes the bestpies  I have found. The Italian owner has run it himself for about 15 to 20 years now and the recipe hasn't changed. He only bakes about a half a dozen varieties. but, hey are soooo good and with the best flakey pastry. I took Hylda there when we went through Sydney in our travels and she whole heartedly agrees with me.

Bon appetit

Jon

On the outskirts of Southern Sydney, it is pretty hard to go past 'Creme De La Creme' in Camden...all the pies are great but the cream pepper ones, woweee!!
