It is with much sadness that I have to report that our great travelling companion, our beautiful border collie "Brodie (the Roadie)" passed away yesterday.
Brodie was diagnosed with cancer of the liver on Saturday and passed away at the surgery in Clare, South Australia peacefully on Monday morning. Brodie will be much missed by the Dunmowin family. May he have many swims and lots of frisbee games in his doggy heaven.
We know you will be hurting and missing your great mate. A little bit of Brodie will be with you for many years to come. It's 12 months since we lost our little 'Benny' and I still go somewhere and do something and think, "Benny would have loved this." Then I feel myself smiling. He is still giving us pleasure and I'm sure Brodie will too.
condolences from me too, just over 2 years for my ben the border collie as well and i have his pillow next to my bed where he used to sleep, I always say good night to him..
So sorry for your loss. May you're memories carry you on for many years to come. We are travelling with two little mates and they are so much of our journey we just hate to think how we will cope when they pass on. Our special thoughts are with you both.

Oh Dunmowin I'm so sorry to hear this. Loss of a loved beautiful dog like Brodie the Roadie leaves such a big hole in your days. You'll never forget him, but the pain gets a bit less over time. Very best wishes.
Oh I am so sorry to hear of the loss of you dear Brodie. I know how you must feel, lost our maltese Sophie 3 years ago, and still miss her.Take care, my thoughts are with you
What a wonderful post Dunmowin', I am sure you have done Brodie proud (a picture paints a thousand words etc)....
and, as a fellow forummember whom knows what it is like to be owned by a loyal border collie, may I suggest it is worth remembering the good fortune of your relationship with him...when you can...
take care
