CAMPING GROUND COFFS HARBOUR AND SURROUNDS

The house is nearly complete and we are still in the Bells caravan Park at Clontarf. Scarborough Park is certainly much nicer although the toilet blocks and laundry are very clean.

Our next port of call is Coffs Harbour so would love some feed back on the nice camping grounds. We will be there in 10 days and will stay for two weeks. Will need power.

Life in the van is great.

hi gollymolly
try bellingen showground which is about 25 minutes south west of coffs, there is power ,toilets ,showers for $20 nt ,great town and if you are lucky enough you might be there for the markets which is a must. when you get to the showground someone will come around in the afternoon to give you a key to the amenities and collect your money.
cheers

Hi GollyMolly - glad all is going well - we have stayed at the Coffs Showground CP - they give a good weekly rate - and one of the other members on here stayed at the Clog Barn CP (same road as showgrounds) - he liked that. Both are walking distance to RSL, and the city itself. Or a good bike riding place all over.

Keep us posted on your travels.

I recently stayed at the Sawtell caravan park and found it ok. It's very handy to cafes, pub, RSL club. Some of the sites aren't level so one would need to check this when checkin in.

Bells caravan park v Scarbrough

Hi rocket,

Yes Bells Caravan park is $145.00 per week, Scarborough is around $200 per week. Quite a few permanents here and some of the vans are really scruffy. You can only have 1 key for the toilet block, old buildings although very clean. If I had the choice I prefer the Scarborough one if you are staying a couple of weeks.
