Arrived home today after two weeks at Burrum Heads Qld. Weather was a bit windy which didn't help the fishing
Also what didn't help the fishing was some low life's stealing our fishing rods and reels approx $600 worth. So please be vigilant and make sure you secure all your belongings you just don't know who is around.
Will contact our insurance company tomorrow and see if they will come to the party and replace the stolen items.

sorry that happened my husband at night uses an okky strap on our outdoor stuff i am the one who says oh it will be all right but i will have to eat my words and tell him thats a good idea at least we will hear any noise and yes we need to be more vigilent with our out door stuff

Hello Greyghosts, We used to live in Burrum Heads and I am sure that this inccedent we not stop us returning at least once a year as we do.
Hello Magraret, We had them tied to one of those little clothes lines you pop over the back rail, we did not hear anything even the dog slept through it. Mind you the dog hasn't been fed since.
So please be vigilant and make sure you secure all your belongings you just don't know who is around.
