 Happens on Melbourne Cup Day a lot - all the ladies in their finery, picking their way through mud and slush at the end of the day - usually drunk with it!!!!!!

Had one girl come home from Cup Day once with her dress on inside out - we didn't ask!!!!!!!!!  just sent her to bed!!!!!

 My brother used to work at the police lost property and hated working the day after cup day. I am sure you all can imagine the calls, from lost shoes, clothes, bags, hats.  The calls and the tears would go on all day.....

I had a saver of $ 20.00 on Green Moon at $ 17.00 set bet on the Monday  $ 350.00 so I did Okay  I had previously won on this Horse at the Turnbull stakes a couple of weeks ago

Good on ya Jimbo - my friend had a win also - picked it because green is her favourite colour!!! Trouble is, she used her daughters betting account, and has now to get the money off her - she has not a lot of chances with that!!!!!! Daughter lost all day!!

hi jules i put 5.00 each way on the winner and picked up 138.00 for my 10.00 gaye waterhouses son tipped it a couple of wks ago on the early morning show so i took his choice hope you and billeeeeare enjoying tassie we are beewah at the moment heading to gin gin showgrounds nxt tuesday cheers cherylle retiree
