Oh dear, here we go again, space ships, round the world sea voyages, most advanced civilisations, cryptic messages, think Iv'e heard it all before. Call me a cynic if you like.
And you expect us to beleive you deliver all the toys in one night!

Nope, takes me two nights, 12 hrs in the Northern Hemisphere and 12 in the Southern.
PS, love your avatar Terry.

This has got absolutely nothing to do with caravanning/RVing or Grey Nomads in general so if you must post this stuff on this forum at least put it in the "I Digress" section.

Well I for one, enjoy this type of Info. There are quite a lot of similar mysteries in this country . I'll be investigating these areas personally when I get going, and I can't wait.
My comments aren't directed at the light hearted contributions to the thread. These sort of comments make the forum a bit of fun and I sometimes add to them myself.
The general forum moves on very quickly and it was my impression that the "I Digress" section was created to provide a place for us to put topics that aren't relevant to the purpose of the forum but about which we may wish to have a conversation anyway.
Sometimes topics move off the front page of the general forum in less than a day and putting irrelevant topics in the I Digress section would leave the general forum less cluttered and allow topics that are relevant to stay alive for longer.

Jim has a point, although we all "err" on occasions. Unfortunately the only mod we have is the Webmaster/Owner Cindy and she doesn't always have the time to read every thread and post as she is also running a business, so we can all help by trying to do the right thing (if possible.....not saying anyone is perfect though, least of all me!).
Thanks everybody. An interesting story but probably best that we place this one in the ‘I digress’ section now. Although there is always going to be some overlap, it really helps the smooth running of the forum if posters try to place posts in the most relevant sections. Thanks again to Recoup for sharing the story.

Actually it looks like a good place to go for a weekend exploritory trip from here in Newcastle. Found a bit of info from a local paper on it here Researching the Kariong Glyphs.
When the bloke in the first link was describing some of the markings high on the wall saying they could not have been made by modern humans as they couldn't reach that high (straight wall), I was thinking, hasn't this bloke heard of ladders?
