Just returned from the Brisbane show, they get me in the pocket everytime I go.This time the wife bought a Dreampot ( I hope she can cook up my dreams :) ) and I couldn't resist the Honda Genie EU20i with cover, trolley, safety lock and extra warranty. Vans are improving, some even have a verandahs now, its free admission, but $10 parking a good days outing.
My Hubby said it's time to stop spending money on our grown up children. That it was time to spend some on ourselves !!!!!!!!!!! SO , we are going on Sunday so that he can put his money where his mouth is.
funny a something like that and some signs read on special only you know its cheaper back in town lol. but i did buy some things (no jim they didnt have any water tanks fleebay). fell inlove with a certan 5th wheeler and if i wasnt setup like we are now i would buy it
we too went today was great i thought ,hubby had already bought me a dreampot i got in trouble cos i was telling everybody on there how our friends the kiwis have one and raving on ,turned to see mr glassies saying are you getting paid to do that lol.
oh well i start my first meal tomorrow in my dream pot ,i did buy the small baker pans that go into it for small loaves or meatloaf and it comes with a glass lid for the bigger dream pot that goes inside 35 dollars instead of $64.00 i was happy with our purchase, and i thought the show was realy good.
We also saw the owner of the brisbane rv's brendon who ended up having all the problems of our van sorted for us he was pleased to hear all is great now and especially with the outcome of my melanoma.
It ends up becoming quite mind boggling at the show though there are so many gadgets and vans you forget what you looked at .
we probably passed many grey nomads while we were walking around ,shame we couldnt have some sort of badge made to wear so we could go oh hello who are you lol.
