Going on a short 10 day trip tomorrow

Hey everyone,

Ray and I are heading to Sydney tomorrow morning with (bugger me dead) the van!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is our virgin voyage hehehehehehe.  We are going down to spend some time with my eldest daughter, her partner and our two grandbabies 4 and nearly 6 yrs old.  I talk to them regularly on skype but Nannie needs her hugs from her little teacup humans.  Nothing beats the hug of a child does it?

So think of us as we set out because I think Ray is a tad nervous lol.  We will be stopping overnight in Newcastle somewhere I think and then travelling on to Sydney the next day.  We will be sleeping in our van at our daughters place and I am going to be loving that for sure.  I will keep up with the forum while we are away as I am taking my new laptop with me.

So tomorrow I will get a real photo to load up to the forum of our tug and rig setup . . . . .finally!!

Michelle

smile ## FANTASTIC ## Michelle, I will look forward to your first trip ''escapades'' Tell Ray not to panic, by the time he gets to Sydney, he will be comfortable with the towing, but watch some of those Sydey arterial roads ? they can be quite narrow at times for 2 or 3 lanes of traffic, My tip is ALWAYS stay in the left lane, as it is always better to diverge out, than to diverge in as you get a much clearer line of vision on the drivers side, as i said tell Ray not to worry and he will be surprised at just how easy it becomes, smile Also Dougwe's Idea is a good one, if you can spare the time, Kiama is a lovely area, and not really that far from Sydney it would be nice for you 3 to catch up and meet,

Well girl get packing and get out there, and don't forget the pictures of the Tug and Van,     Dazren

Just enjoy it Michelle - we came down via Newcastle - closest caravan parks are on the south side of the lake I think, Belmont and places like that.

Take it easy - don't let the traffic direct you - and all will flow smoothly.
