One of those rivers that has always made my imagination to run wild, the Murrumbidgee, and I am camping alongside it now. The actual location is the Narrandera Boat Ramp Rest Area Camps6 #836. I had set off earlier than Rod, Heather and Norma who will be catching up here later. Michael had business to attend and will be catching up with us at Greens Lake.
This is a huge camping area all round a sports oval with a boat ramp into the river, flushing toilets and running water are the amenities it is a good campsite. There is another campsite in Narrandera at the Showgrounds but the dollar signs in Camps put us off from going there.
One of the appeals of the nomadic lifestyle is that we usually set off to go to a place that we have never been to before and have no idea what to expect when we get there and then the day unfolds all making for interesting and unexpected days. John
Thanks for your reports in your travels John. Nerrandera and some of the other towns I have been through and wondered if there was anywhere to park, then moved on as not sure about it. Now I know to just get the laptop out and check in with your reports, will be able to pick one as I get to that town where ever I am. You are a genius.
