Large WA Car Dealer Closing Down RV Yard

The largest new and used car dealership in WA is closing its RV yard and returning to its core business.

Apparently this is because of the general downturn in the economy in that business and it is no longer profitable.

I doubt they will ever return to selling RV's again.

Sorry Folks, no secret, it is the John Hughes RV yard on Albany Highway at Bentley.   They had a big addy in the Sunday Times Readers Mart RV Section with a closing down sale of their last 4 RV's heavily discounted.

I heard this was going to happen from an insider about 5 weeks ago, apparently not enough profit in RV's to cut even at the moment.

I see the big RV players in WA are still operating ok, but they sell strictly RV's, but I did hear that it is the worst year they have ever had.

This is the link to their RV yard, however the prices shown on there were drastically reduce for their clearance sale in the Sunday Times, one one RV there it was as much as $19,000.
