Next stage: Grafton to Armidale

After a couple of nights in the Washpool & Gibralter Ranges, a compulsory stop in the Grafton Showgrounds for an overdue shower!  Also to refil the gas bottle & stock up on a ew supplies.  From here I intend stopping in Cathedral Rock NP for a couple of nights.  I then intend to work my way down to Barrington Tops and The Pines (Camps6 #360) if I can get in with a 2WD.

Pity I missed some of the earlier comments, some places further north I passed that sound interesting.  Certainly the Gwyder Hwy is interesting, terrific view from Raspberry LO, but some further toward the coast were smoked out - looks like a bad year for bushfires.  Thanks to all for their response to my earlier post, thanks Oxley for the information about Burning Mountain, and while not into the macabre, I've never heard of Katherine Knight.

As you've probably gathered, I'm flying by the seat of my pants a bit, but plan on visiting the Hunter Valley, Blue Mountains and Snowy Ranges on my meanderings - lifes good!

Happy travels to all you Grey Nomads,

Anton

Anton I am planning to travel from Coffs to Armidale via Bellingen on Wednesday enroute to Greens. If that suits we could go in tandem.

John
